US hip-hop outfit THE NEPTUNES have been sued for copyright infringement after two men alleged their hit FRONTIN’ used sections of their own track of a similar name. PETER and
DAVID CURRIN have filed suit at Hartford Federal Court, Connecticut, claiming 1993 song I’M FRONTIN’ was illegally copied for the JAY-Z-featuring version 10 years later. The aggrieved pair are seeking an undisclosed sum in compensation, according to AllHipHop.com.
